[TUT]How to root and flash TWRP for Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power Kitkat

This is it! I find way to root and make a custom recovery for Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power one of the popular octacore phone today with affordable price. Just follow my instruction carefully.

CM FLARE S3 POWER

Note: Rooting can void your warranty. Do it at your own risk!

Requirements:
Download all:
Flashable_TWRP_flare_power.zip
SuperSUPro2.46.zip

Procedure for TWRP: 

Step:
1. Go to your recovery mode: Reboot your phone while hold volume up and power button simultaneously. “No command” will appear.
2. Press power once then navigate to install via zip.
3. Apply update from sdcard then select flashable TWRP
4. Wait to install then reboot.
5. Go to recovery mode again. Just follow step 1. If TWRP shows then congrats you has already TWRP for custom recovery backup and restore. You can start to back up now.

Procedure for rooting:


Step:
1. Download SuperSUPro then put in your sdcard
2. Go to recovery mode: TWRP
3. Mount System and Mount Data
4. Install via zip. Then flash SuperSUPro
5. Reboot.

Download Rootchecker in playstore to verify if rooted. Enjoy!

  7. Sir nainstall ko na po ang twrp at root so naginstall po ako ng xposed framework, nagrestart po siya pero di na po siya nagboboot sa Os, pero sa recovery pwede. Dinownload ko na po ang stock rom ng s3 power at flinash ko na po gamit twrp, pero naguulit ulit lang po ang cherry mobile na logo, ilang beses ko na po flinash pero ganun parin sa logo, ano po dapat gawin?

    • Sir i reset everytime, before flashing i reset dalvik, system, cache, data and internal storage, after flashing i reset dalvik cache data and internal storage but still the cherry mobile logo shows and cuts and repeats again

  15. Sir, i have a problem, my phone won't boot into any ROM i've tried. It only boots to the recovery. When i install a ROM, it will only show the "Flare S3 Power" logo and will reboot to repeat over and over. But I can go to recovery and i wiped everything, i have tried all roms for Flare S3 Power including stock rom but for any rom i have tried, it does the same. This did not happen before. Even the stock rom doesnt work, What could be a possible fix sir? Thank you sir in advance

      • Download ka lang ng os ng phone mo tapos gamitan mo ng sp flashtool (kailangan yung may scatter file yung os na idownload mo)

    • Yap if there's a will there's a way and there's life there's hope…lol..Find working stock rom then flash again. Try and try..If still not, Go to nearest Service Center.

  16. sir, nastuck ako sa procedure for rooting. ano yung kailangan iinstall via zip sa step 4? tsaka yung pagmount ba ng system at data dapat sabay? kasi kapag sinelect ko yung system at data tapos nagmount ako tapos unmount, yung system di nakaselect.

    • Sorry but this is for kitkat version only. Still searching for lollipop version.

  27. Kung ano ano na sinearch at gnawa ko pra i root tong cm flare s3 power ko na lollipop version pero puro d nagana.

  35. Naka punta ako sa recovery mode .. Lollopop na po yung sakin…

    .Turn off your cp
    .hold power botton and vol down
    .no command yung lalabas.
    .hold power botton and vol up. Mga 1 second lang.

    Tapos ka boom.. Andon na sa recovery.. Baka ma sulosyonan nyo po baka pwedi to sa lollipop e flash yung ready to flash na recovery? Salamat po.
    Takot kasi ko baka ma boot loop

  36. HELP! S3 power ko po hindi nag re2covery mode kahit lang beses ko na tinatry ( press n hold volume up and power button). Kakainis, nakka ilang try na ako at halos every day na ako mag attempt pero wala talaga.

    • Ei tapon mo nlng cp mo naiinis ka lang eh.. O kaya pamigay mo sa charity nakatulong ka pa.hahaha

  39. Sir pano po ba lalabas yung recovery mode, ayaw po kasi sinubukan ko na ilang beses pero minsan naman po nalabas idk kung ano problem, pls help po. Flare s3 power
